THz activities

Multitel possesses two complete systems for THz imaging and spectroscopy:

  • A flexible system (based on fibre coupled THz antennaes) that permits to perform both transmission and reflection imaging in the 0-3 THz band.
  • A second system based on optical rectification permits to extend this spectral domain up to 10 THz. 

Beyond this, Multitel is developing high power femtosecond fibre laser sources for enhancing the performances of current THz imaging systems in terms of signal to noise ration, bandwidth and imaging speed.


Project CILAB: FEDER regional project on non-destructive imaging and control. The project started in July 2009 and has a duration of 4 years. The contribution of Multitel is related with Thz imaging. More information will be available soon by clicking this link.
